The new Mr & Mrs Kenny
A huge congratulations to gold medalists Laura Trott and Jason Kenny who recently tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony in Cheshire.
Laura wore our beautiful Jennifer side Tiara in rose gold which looked stunning with her soft curls and complimented her dress perfectly. Laura first visited our shop when she visited Glasgow for the Commonwealth games back in 2014 and after trying on a few styles opted for this beautiful side tiara and also bought her bridesmaids hair accessories too.

VEIL Photoshoot

Ciao Eddy K...
Our newest designer Eddy K is finally making an appearance in the boutique and we are in love with these dresses. Earlier this year both Jac and I we were lucky enough to visit Milan to view the prestigious Dreams and Milano collections. Both collections (although different) really captured the the high fashion and sophistication found in what is to many, the fashion capital of the world. The quality, cut, fabrics and style of the dresses are amazing upholding the reputation of Eddy K as being a one of the most respected designers in the wedding industry.

Harrogate Bridal Show
We've just returned from a hectic weekend at the Harrogate Bridal Show where we were selecting all our new collections for 2017. We had the most amazing time and chose the most beautiful dresses by Badgley Mischka, Sottero & Midgley, Lusan Mandongus, Ti Adora, LouLou and Callista aswell as taking on a brand new Bridesmaid designer (more details on that to follow soon!)

Five Tips for Shopping a Designer Weekend/Trunk Show

DO YOUR RESEARCH
Research the designer that's being showcased - the shop will be primarily presenting the featured designer so make sure you are interested in their styles to get the most from your experience.
SIZING
The dresses at a trunk show can be on the small side (UK8/10) the reason for this is they're usually the samples used by designers at catwalk shows and photoshoots, so they tend to be ‘model size’. That doesn’t mean however you’ll be unable to try on, it all depends on the cut and shape of the dress and bridal consultants can work wonders to show how the dress could look on you. If however you’re worried about sizing then call the shop before hand and ask or if there’s a particular dress you like ask if they could get it in a larger size for you.
NOW YOU SEE IT, NOW YOU DON’T
A designer weekend in just that, a weekend! This means you probably won’t get the chance to come back at a later date and re-try the dress on again so make sure you take along your trusted advisors on the day. Your mum, gran, sister or bridesmaid, anyone who’s opinion you value and trust, so if you find your dream dress you’re in the position to make the decision that day.
DISCOUNTS
Most bridal shops will offer a discount at a designer weekend so take advantage of it - come ready to make a decision because the discount will only apply at the event, not after.

Feel your best underneath - nude seamless underwear and a great strapless bra will not only make you look better when trying on dresses but it will make you feel better too.

We're so excited to have the latest Rachel Simpson collection in-store and there are even more pretty colours, styles and fabrics than ever before.
We've always been huge fans of Rachel's shoes and so have our brides and we've seen this brand grow from strength to strength over the six years of being a stockist.
